Golf

Hawks golf gives men and women the chance to compete at a high level while building a game that lasts a lifetime. Head coach Martin Nakamura, a PGA teaching professional, works with each golfer on swing mechanics, course management and the mental side of the game. The team practices at Cypress Landing Golf Club and competes at courses throughout the Carolinas.

Golf demands focus and self-discipline, and Hawks golfers bring those habits to class, maintaining the department’s 3.2 average GPA. Coach Nakamura helps players connect with four-year programs, and several recent Hawks have continued their playing careers while earning bachelor’s degrees, including in Professional Golf Management programs.
