Women's Basketball

Hawks women’s basketball is one of the proudest programs at Palmetto Ridge. Head coach Angela Pressley-Moore, a Lowcountry native who played professionally overseas, led the Hawks to the 2024 CJCAC championship and has kept them near the top of the league ever since. Her teams share the ball, rebound relentlessly and never take a possession off.

Coach Pressley-Moore recruits players who want to compete and graduate. Team members meet weekly with academic advisors, and Hawks student-athletes average a 3.2 GPA. Since 2021, the program has sent 17 players to four-year schools, including Division I and II programs across the Southeast, and alumni regularly return to Freeman Fieldhouse to mentor current players.
