Dr. Naomi Feldman leads the Learning Commons in Ridgeview Commons, which brings together the library, tutoring center, writing center, and technology help desk under one roof. She believes a library should be the most welcoming room on campus.
Dr. Feldman led the college’s open educational resources initiative, which has replaced expensive textbooks with free, high-quality materials in more than sixty courses. She also expanded evening and weekend hours, added a laptop and hotspot lending program, and created quiet sensory-friendly study rooms. She coordinates the Learning Commons’ archive partnership with the Heritage Center. In her free time, she bakes challah, reads mysteries, and volunteers with a local literacy program.
