Professor Rosa Delgado teaches composition, American literature, and creative writing. A poet who grew up along the Texas-Mexico border, she writes in both English and Spanish and encourages students to bring their full voices, languages, and stories into their writing.
Professor Delgado edits Cooper’s Run Review, the college’s student literary magazine, and advises the Latinx Student Alliance. She also leads a free Saturday writing workshop for adult learners who are returning to school after many years away. Her second poetry collection was published last spring. She can usually be found in the Learning Commons with a stack of student essays and a cup of very strong coffee.
